Maisha Maasai
Website / Documentation
Short description
To protect our community from the virus, they need water. To end hunger immediately, they need moringa trees
Description
In Mererani, close to Kilimanjaro Airport, live more than 7000 Maasai who cannot even wash their hands because of a lack of water. People, and even more children, are dirty and hungry every day. By giving them access to water and plant moringa trees – both programs come with training – they can wash themselves, wash their hands several times per day and hunger will end within 3 weeks while the people will get all the necessary nutritions daily

What we need help with
We need to drill a water well and buy 7 hand pumps. The old ones are broken and need to be renewed. The wells are closed with cement so the people cannot even take water out with a bucket and a rope. Handsoap/body soap would also be very welcome
