Graffiti Campaign on COVID-19 awareness

Short description

The Graffiti campaign uses art to teach Coronavirus guidelines in informal settlements.

We use graffiti to draw the safety guidelines on COVID-19 in strategic locations in informal settlements such as public halls, open soccer fields and houses along roads where many people can see them. The language used in the art is local in order to ensure that it is understood effectively. The end goal is to ensure that one of the most sidelined and disadvantaged demographic is educated on the pandemic so they can make better health and safety choices.

What we need help with

The graffiti campaign is a self-funded initiative. Being a young movement that is just a few months old, Light Art club needs funds to keep the project running. The lack of finances to reach a wider audience across Kenya is a limitation in the ongoing project.
