The project intends to provide necessary equipment and staff to health posts of Western
Kenya and solve the most dominating health issues faced by the community.
Project seeks funding in the amount of USD 503800 $ which is essential to establish:
The main rationale for the project proposal in Western Kenya was to provide the
following to the Hospitals;
✔ To purchase X-RAY machines
✔ To purchase face masks, sanitizer, soaps, etc.
✔ To purchase vehicles for patient transportation
✔ To purchase vehicles for food supply/medical supply
✔ To purchase 200 bedding sets for creating Isolation set up
✔ To purchase Medical aid facility for quarantine situation
✔ To develop support and enhance capacity among home-based care units
✔ To create awareness by distribution of printed material distribution
✔ To establish a strong referral system to health units, HIV/AIDS counseling & testing
center
✔ To offer essential services for people with infection through community
mobilization and sensitization
✔ To increase income-generating activities and improve nutritional status by
improving the existing
✔ To counsel families of infected on care and support, health service referral
✔ Gardening project to make the hospital area more pleasant for the patient and make
them feel better
✔ Hire 50 doctors at the hospitals for looking after corona patients

EXPECTED RESULTS
In 1 year time:
● Benefited health posts receives the required equipment and specialist
● Good health care practices
● Decrease the rate of early death rate in the community
● Better equipped treatment machines
● Hired staffs and volunteers will be help the marginalized population to enjoy a
healthy life
It is our hope that this can be carried out smoothly in hospitals and the life of people
over there with the implementation of this project.
