Short description

We aim to provide low- cost remote ventilators to countries facing a shortage of medical equipment and personnel.

Description

The Arden Auxiliary Medical Trust has developed an oxygen generator and a sophisticated low-cost remote controllable ventilator that will synchronize detailed patient information, such as heartbeat, blood oxygenation, as well as changes to settings and treatment plans with a cloud-based database. The goal hereby is to address the shortage of both medical personnel and equipment in the fight against COVID- 19. Through the remote capabilities our ventilators will function as a telemedicine device, connecting patients in the hospital or at home with physicians anywhere in the world. The ventilator and oxygen generator will be provided free of charge to people and hospitals in countries where it is needed the most. A no obligation voluntary donation may be accepted based on the recipient’s financial capabilities. We are a charitable trust based in New Zealand and are 100% volunteer operated with more than 50 members across 4 continents including but not limited to engineers, doctors, and financial and administrative staff.

What we need help with

Currently we are in need of funds to invest in tooling and enable mass manufacturing of our ventilators and oxygen generators in sufficient numbers to meet the global emergency. We also require assistance with fundraising to gain exposure. For this purpose, we are looking for volunteers who are able to help with social media, marketing, and fundraising.
